A little bit of history…
Ewan Gardiner and Graeme Knobloch met when they were working at Watson Blampied and Partners, an accountancy firm with four branches dotted around the Hawke's Bay region - Graeme in Waipukurau and Ewan in Napier. When Mr Blampied retired, Graeme moved to Napier to help his colleague in the Napier office.
The pair withdrew from the Watson Blampied group and set up their own firm, Gardiner Knobloch, working from an office in Tennyson Street. They had a modest client base of local businesses but quickly expanded, moving to new premises in Shakespeare Road where the firm remains today. Peter Gillies joined the practice in 1993 and became a Director in 2000. In 2017 Angela Robinson and Leon Collier became Director's in the firm. In June 2018 Graeme Knobloch retired as a Director of Gardiner Knobloch Ltd, however he continues to work with our clients as a consultant.
Ewan, Peter, Angela and Leon's
philosophy remains unchanged; that is to offer accountancy expertise and sound financial advice to grow their clients' businesses.
