Peter Gillies

Peter joined GKL in 1993 after working in the banking industry and completing his accountancy studies in Hawke's Bay and Wellington.  In 2000, Peter was appointed a director of the firm alongside Ewan Gardiner and Graeme Knobloch.

The experience Peter has gained over three decades with the company has resulted in extensive knowledge across all areas of financial management. His expertise in building knowledge of his clients' businesses through regular reporting and 'getting amongst it' means Peter is able to gain a holistic understanding of their enterprises and provide solutions to the challenges they may face.

Born and bred in Hawke's Bay, Peter lives with his wife on Westshore's ocean front. He is a keen athlete, running or swimming several times a week, crediting fitness with keeping stress levels down. He also enjoys spending time with his son and daughter in law, Ben and Michelle, and granddaughter Ava.
